Hamburg Stoner Rock Band Kaimar have released the first single off their new EP. Recorded and mixed by Nick Braren at Upaya Sound, “Rote Fäden” (“Red Threads”) comes with a psychedelic music video made up of vintage archive footage and animations with a slight medical theme.
The EP was recorded on location in late 2020 in the band’s own rehearsal room in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg with vocals added in the newly completed Upaya Sound studio in May 2021.
The new album “Es Gibt Menschen…” (“There Are People…”) was mastered by Magnus Lindberg of Cult of Luna and is due for release on February 18, 2022.
Nick Braren is an audio engineer and musician with over 15 years experience in the studio, on stage, back stage and front of house. He is the owner and operator of Upaya Sound, guitarist and vocalist of Vandemonian, father of 2 and husband of 1. When he’s not in the studio or in the band room he’s either travelling in his van or at the beach – or both.
